Lalbaugcha Raja, the iconic “King of Lalbaug” Ganpati idol in Mumbai, is celebrated throughout Ganeshotsav and holds a legendary status for fulfilling devotees’ wishes. In 2025, the festival marks its 92nd year, with the idol majestically adorned in a palatial setup—dressed in maroon robes, decked with ornaments, and placed in an ornate golden mandap.

Live Streaming Details

  • The Mandal offers 24×7 live darshan from commencement of festivities, enabling devotees worldwide to participate virtually .
  • Platforms include their official YouTube channel, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), website, and a dedicated mobile app for Android and iOS .
  • For 2025, online darshan began on 27 August at 5:00 AM and continues until 6 September (Anant Chaturdashi/Visarjan Day) .

Darshan Timings & Access

  • In-person darshan is available daily from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM throughout the festival.
  • There are two primary queues:
    • Navsachi Line (Charan Sparsh Darshan): Devotees brought on stage to touch the idol’s feet. Wait times can stretch up to 25 hours or more.
    • Mukh Darshan Line: Devotees view the idol from a distance. Waiting time varies from less than an hour to 7–10 hours, depending on crowd density.

  • Special Darshan: ₹500
